if you load your save with marcs editor then it is possible to reset all your villagers. including boxed ones - just select the correct villager-option in the drop-down menu :)
All right, thanks. I reset all my villagers to make sure nobody left. Now to put the villager's houses where I want them to be. XD

For the record, villager houses are 2x2 right?

^ I wouldn't know the answer to the former, but should be easy to find out the latter by plopping flowers down around the building and going by that.

Can the NLSE or the online variant get rid of those ugly natural bald patches?

I had the same problem and was never able to figure it out. I started using SVDT. When you open homebrew just scroll down until you get to it and press A. It should automatically generate the garden.dat file for you an place it in your SD card (as I assume this is a default setting). When you open your SD card you'll find a new file in your root called svdt -> animal crossing new leaf -> a file with a bunch of numbers -> garden.dat (well at least that is how it was for me). Once I edit my garden.dat with the editor I drop the new garden.dat in the root of my sd card (making sure there isn't another copy there from a previous edit). I then open homebrew again, scroll down to svdt and open it. The SD card is on the right column and I just scroll down to find the garden.dat file and press y and then press select. This overwrites the old garden.dat file with your edited one. Hope this makes sense...I'm relatively new to this as well.

I did this and I'm still getting the same message. I tried using JKSM as well and it's still not working.

My garden.bat file is edited and everything, it just won't load back up into the ACNL save editor so I can import it, it just says I don't have the file or something.

EDIT: Never mind, got it fixed.

It can temporarily remove them, but it's hardcoded in the game to spawn those bald spots. No idea why though..
To annoy the perfectionists, that's why. :(

I seem to have a problem, but I told there was a fix? I tried to move the waterfall one acre down using the web editor, but it broke the wall. IGNORE MY HAIR OKAY.

So is there any way to backup dream towns via the Homebrew launcher method or nah? Like in a similar manner to the way we did it in the older method? I just found my old dream town from a year or so ago and I'm curious to see if I can back it up and make it an actual town.

Nintendo made it so I can't use the old method anymore as they basically block off your internet connection from the Dream Suite in non-updated versions, so I hope there's a new way.

Yup, but i used save_manager and it worked well
Huh. Homebrew just gets stuck on a yellow screen and freezes for me, I can't even access it.

Basically what I've been trying is going into the dream town, going to the home menu, opening up the internet browser, and attempting to start up Homebrew so I can export/import the dream town. Unfortunately that's only causing Homebrew to freeze at a yellow screen and not load up.

You have to close every application, or turn off the console, then scan the QR, i tried it now cause i use oothax, hope it fixes the problem.

So these are the acres offset for the right/left side of town and I was wanting to make the left side have a cliff not ocean, so I edited the hex values I replaced AB with A3 to get the cliff and I changed A6 to A1 for the left tunnel, for some reason my changes don't show up after I saved and overwrited the old acnlram.bin with the newly edited one from HxD. any help would be appreciated :)

This happens to me everytime whenever I try to access Homebrew via Browserhax in the attempt to dump a friend's town. I tried the link
http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php, but it shows the yellow screen.

I also tried using Marc's dump and inject links but I never got the green page nor get any dump file save on my SD card.

I have an Old 3ds ver. 9.2.0-20U and CFW Emu 11.0. When I access the links above, they both work fine in 9.2 but when I access in 11.0, I just can't get them to work. I got no Internet on 9.2 so I am trying to run the links on 11.0. HELP!

I'm not sure if this has something to do with the payload because, the payload to access homebrew is for 9.2. Is it possible to have two payloads both for 9.2 and 11 on your SD card? Will this solve the yellow freezing screen?

What precisely are you trying to, now? Because it sounds to me like you're having problems accessing homebrew itself, not actually accessing and editing save files.
Like I said, I am trying to create a dump file of my friend's town, I need internet to access his dream town so I am trying to run Homebrew via browserhax on Emu 11.0.
