Can you plant trees in this game? I was watching some dude on youtube play this and he planted a tree at the beginning of the game and then one with a fruit. Like he stuck an orange into the ground, but it died haha. Can you plant non fruit bearing trees? I think it would be sweet to grow a huge forest.

It would be sweet indeed. Sweet with delicous fruit.
You can bury fruits and then they grow as trees in 4 days.
You can also plant normal trees and other trees like bamboo.

Ok cool. It looks like there are like trees that look just like fruit trees, but they dont have fruit on them. I dont know why im so hung up on this, just wanting to plant a forest haha.

Make a forest and then make a path leading to some sacred item place or painting.

Apples Cherries Coconuts Oranges Peaches Pears

You get one of as your Town Tree

there is a chance of getting Perfect versions and plant them to get a Perfect Apple Tree, and they sell for more

there are also
Persimmons, Durians, Bananas, Lemons, Lychees, Mangos
and Bamboo

Yeah, I like the fact they put more fruits.
And bamboo and stuff. You can also grow bushes which are very nice.
