There's no new penalty for time travel... Just the usual two weeds each day, neighbors will notice (unless you talk to each of them on every one of those new days)
I think Japanese players that hate time travel with a passion put rumors out there. So do english players, I've seen on other boards some pretty ridiculous ones.

Time skipping is okay if you skip, then play that day like you would normally (dig fossils, weeds, socialize), then skip again or return or whatever.
If you just skip, buy fortune cookie, skip, buy fortune cookie, return, your town will be a mess. Still not that bad though, its easy to fix.

edit: But still... DON'T TIME TRAVEL YOU MIGHT BURN YOURSELF OUT. ;O;
I know this from previous experience with WW and CF...

(I mean like weeks at a time.)

If your town ordinance is beautiful town, the environnment gets ignored. Meaning that more flowers will pop out and weeds are even more rare,

First loan payed off. Museum filled up pretty good. Did everything I can think of to do for day to day task so I'm taking a break. It feels easier to make money on here, but might be because i'm smarter or something.
