Gaming Animal Crossing - Let's Go To The City PAL system update

Has anyone got any information on whether or not there is a system update included in the PAL edition of Animal Crossing. I would have thought there was because of the wiispeak. We all know what the American versions system update did, so does anyone know anything about the PAL firmware upgrade? Whether it's dangerous or not.

I'm sure there is an update if you're under 3.3v1.

Just either boot through GeckoOS, or install the animal crossing fix.wad

You can find it somewhere on here...

ye i've got the same question...i am already on 3.3 so no problem there...just whant to know wich update there is on it...if it is 3.4 if it is 3.4 then it isnt a good update

So i'm guessing it is the 3.4 update on the PAL version if you're getting DRE's now? That doesn't sound good!

With the pal edition I doubt've changed the season's around for us Southern Hemisphere folk

. But i think safety wise it's probably just better to install the Animal Crossing fix.wad

Which firmware release shows up in your settings menu on your Wii ??

OK. I have installed IOS 38, 53 and 55. When I start the game, I have a black screen. Over Gecko I have no problems.
Somebody has an idea??

I have FW 3.2.

I just started updating my Wii with the Animal Crossing disc and it won't finish. What should i do?

I updated the wii before i did it.

I have 3.4e and it wants to do an update so im guessing it has to do with the game.

I'm on 3.2E and just backup loader'd my wii, I put starfall on before I did enabling all the main options, installed the loader, installer the above animal crossing fix wad, burnt AC:Lets go to the city and it worked right off.

No errors, no issues, nothing.

Hey guys do yu think if I disabled my wii connect 24 and internet connection I could get around the update? I have homebrew and backup launcher so there is no way i am upgrading - downgrading is a pain in the ass - i know that from past experiance

It's irritating, but I just use the backup loader to boot every time. Still sticking with the old 3.2 firmware here, and I'm never moving on

First up, no. Why would disabling internet stop you getting an update notification from an update thats on the DVD?

Second, Its not a full upgrade, its just a single IOS (38), install the animal crossing fix and you will be fine just like the rest of us.

If you are on 3.3:

1: It will ask you if you want to update right? It wont do it automatically right?
2: Can I update?
