So, I finished watching Angel Beats about a week ago. Loved it. A part that really got to me, was the below. (Spoiler ALERT BELOW.)

When the main character dies in real life, he dedicated himself to helping those in the train wreck. Before, he died. He asked his friend for a pen. As he was dying, he signed a organ donor card. ;A; I cried at that part. Afterwards, he died. Right as medics came through the rubble.

Anywho, I want to become a organ donor. So that when I die, my organs can be used to save the lives of others. Anyone know where to sign up to do such? Like a hospital, or somewhere? Thanks.

(Side Questions: Are any of you register organ donors? Any specific requirements? Thoughts on such things?)

Loved the show, hated the ending, maybe it cause I wanted less romance, or don't like romance anime, but I just didn't like it.

Angel Beats made me want to sign up as an organ donor, and to start carrying water rations.

Man, I swear I cried during the train sequence, and when
Kanade revealed that it was his heart that had saved her life

It's life changing.

Now, go! Embrace yourself in the glory, that is Angel Beats.
Well I wouldn't say life changing (at least not for me), but it is very good. I watched it on Netflix and finished it pretty quick. Also, My Soul, Your Beats is amazing (the OP).

it's a very comedic school-life (although in a school of dead people) anime.

btw it's by Key, the VN company who made the masterpiece VN/Anime, Clannad. Although the animator is different, so the animation is very different.

I'm currently watching Nichijou right now.

I'm in the funny mood, so I'll save this for later :3

Clannad is life changing.
Angel Beats is still fantastic though, since Jun Maeda wrote both.

Angel Beats is actually pretty hilarious.
Though, it has its sad moments.

Kinda like Clannad. Except Clannad's sad moments are like...box of tissue required sad moments.

yes...i wasn't expecting this...everything just stopped for me...
i thought the last episode was boring the whole way.

Angel Beats could've been better, it just turned into crap at the last episodes.

You mean I could be like Haruhi of this world?

Loved that show. It was funny and sad, however there was one thing which slightly annoyed me about the ending
That kanade received Otonashi's heart to save her life, yet was at the school way before Otonashi who would have had to die to save Kanade's life. It makes no sense.

iirc, otonashi wasn't supposed to be thre in the first place...he was sent there to help others that can't fulfill their dreams or something like that.

I haven't watched AB's in a while, but i'm pretty sure it had something to do with the fact he wasn't supposed to be there, so he was "lost" and eventually ended up at the school with no memories.

and the ending was great. Very few animes end in a satisfying way, but I was satisfied with the ending. The only thing I wish they did was stretch it out a bit more and get to know some of the other characters better.

I got the same impression as admotonic. Things got kinda confusing when Kanade said that she recieved an organ from Otanashi. I wonder if there's a manga for AB, maybe they'll have a better ending
