It's official guys, Android M has been dubbed Android Marshmallow by Google. The name reveal has been accompanied with an unveiling of the official Android Marshmallow statue.

It's version 6.0 by the way.

I'm excited for the app permissions feature.

I'm sure they is new features which won't be revealed to they release the new nexus phone.

App permissions are long awaited and proper finger print recognition should be nice.

I can't wait for the new Nexus 5 2015, my Nexus 4 is on its last dying breath and I urgently need a new phone. Wished they hurry up and announce it!

Meanwhile, I've had that feature for years thanks to the magic of custom launchers

The new app permissions seem nice. It's been possible to deny an app individual permissions with root but it's nice to have that feature integrated into the OS. Now I will finally be able to deny apps all those strange permissions that they shouldn't ever need. Like GPS location.

Very nice indeed. I'm a sucker for all kinds of privacy related things, permissions do seem to make the job easier.

Yet I still have to upgrade my Custom Rom to something 5.0 related, looking into it as we speak. So much choices to be made.

App permissions..
Wasn't that already included in CM?

I'm still on Android 4.4.4, Haven't upgraded to 5 yet cause of laziness.
Think I'll skip 6 as well, unless I'll get a new phone.
