So I got some problems with my analog stick. It just keeps going down, so I can't really play games using the analog stick. I opened up the faceplate and found out it wasn't the analog stick it self. Is there any way I can fix it? I read something about cleaning something?

See this link, might help you.

my friend had the same problem i just unskrewed his face plate and cleaned it off and it worked fine

I fixed it by getting a replacement. I tried cleaning it, tried almost everything. Replacing it did the trick though. My spring, the one in the analog, was also really messed up.

Also when getting a replacement.....get an extra stick or 2 if you can. I've replaced my PSP analog stick twice lol so its always good to have a spare around.
