Hacking An open request to R4 team

Some easy ones for the R4 firmware

Ability to ...
1. Hide file extensions in game browser
2. Hide file sizes
3. Customize fonts and colors
4. Skip to game select screen on bootup
Those ones seem so easy but they would make a lot of people happy.

Maybe not so easy
5. Fix the games that don't work correctly (Downhill Jam, PoR)

What do you guys think? I'll edit this post to add some of the good suggestions.

Suggestion number 5 would be the only one I'm concerned about. Baring that, perhaps fixing download play for games that dont work and an OS full of eye candy would be nice.

Along the lines of what Slippy said, but more specifically - an actual UI skinning ability. Not just the ability to change a background image but to be able to control positioning, font size/color, and support for rollover states and frame-animated image formats.

I know all of these are a bit much - I'd settle for any of them.

Well aren't you Mr. helpful. Thanks for pointing out threads that have died almost a month ago or more.

The R4 team has addressed some of the topics in those posts and I started a new thread to get an idea of what people still want or new ideas.
