Around an hour or so ago, I completed Bravely Second and decided to open the activity log to see how many hours I had clocked in. When I opened it, I got the infinite 3DS loading screen but I wasn't worried since it happens every now and then.

I held the power button to shut off the system but when I turned it back on, I got the "an error has occurred...please shut down..." screen a few seconds after booting into emunand. I tried it a few more times but the same thing kept happening.

Just out of curiosity, I also tried booting into sysnand and got the same message a few seconds later.

I'm using a N3DS with a9lh + Luma on 11.4. My sysnand is a Jap 9.2 and my emunand is set to the US region. This setup has worked perfectly for the past 7-8 months and I don't know why it suddenly started to act up.

Does anyone have any idea as to what's going on and how to fix it?

Try loading your system with another sd card. Might be the extdata.
It was the extdata.
I just deleted the home menu folder and everything started working fine.
The only downside was having to unwrap and rearrange all of my icons again but that only took about 2 minutes tops.
Thanks for the help.

The issue came back yesterday.
Deleting the home menu folder didn't work.
After looking around, I came to the decision of Uninstalling a9lh and formatting my SD card and then hack it again (my sysnand is 9.2 so this isn't a problem).
So I went ahead and uninstalled a9lh and wiped my sd card. Then I inserted it back in and my sysnand loaded up like it should but after a few seconds, "An error has blah blah blah".
I swapped sd cards and got the same result.
This makes me wonder if my nand's been corrupted somehow - which I find unlikely since I've always used emunand.
Anyone know what to do?

If you have really uninstalled a9lh... I don't thing you have any options left but to hardmod and restore an old backup

If you're able to enter the home menu then yes, it's possible
Edit: Maybe the crash has something to do with the region change

I can enter the home menu for a few seconds but that won't be enough time to do the sound hax I take it.
I only changed the region of my emunand.
I didn't do anything to or in the sysnand.
