Hacking Question AMS opening HB without "R"

Greetings, community.
Yesterday I updated my Switch to 9.1.0 and AMS 0.9,4.
Now, I can only open HB pressing Album without "R" key pressed.
Also, it opens in Applet mode.
I don't want my kids to access HB and, maybe, touch something they are not supossed to touch.
I downloaded all data from SDsetup.
Any idea on how to open pressing "R" and normal mode?

I think you meant "updated to 0.10.2".
From 0.10.0 it was changed to get to HB without pressing R.
Other option is that you have DOWNGRADED to 0.9.4 without changing config files.
Go to atmosphere/config, edit override_config.ini and change

; program_id_0=010000000000100D
; override_key_0=!R

to

program_id_0=010000000000100D
override_key_0=R

If you don't have that file, create it and paste:

[hbl_config]
; Program Specific Config
; Up to 8 program-specific configurations can be set.
; These use `program_id_#` and `override_key_#`
; where # is in range [0,7].
program_id_0=010000000000100D
override_key_0=R

; Any Application Config
; Note that this will only apply to program IDs that
; are both applications and not specified above
; by a program specific config.
; override_any_app=true
; override_any_app_key=R
; path=atmosphere/hbl.nsp

[default_config]
; override_key=!L
; cheat_enable_key=!L

And remember to restart Switch,

Applet mode was always there. HBL just added this info in newest releases. Applet Mode means you are running this instead of system application which is Album.
To not have Applet Mode you need to run game with pressed R which I think is not something you always want.

No, I tried that and it's useless as long as there are no problems when running apps in Applet Mode.

I mean, I tried with a game, and opened HB in normal mode. But I think it is not necessary if applet mode works fine for apps.

For most apps. HB games and emulators should not be used in applet mode.
