Who the hell are you calling savages? We kicked your ass during the revolution! Besides it doesn't really matter the way you speak it, although some words may mean something completely different (My dad was stationed in England in the 60's and 70's, he tells me about these things all the time).

As for me, an American, I (obviously) prefer American English.
