I mean come what's the point of having two separate languages that are nearly the same.
Any way if it weren't for us Brits you lot would still be savages!

Britain officially founded the world, we discovered most of the countries, put a stop to the Germans, invented cool stuff like the car and we are generally cool people!

oO'' And they're geniuses too. You can really tell how smart they are by their spelling. Even of their own name...

    Seriously?

Who the hell are you calling savages? We kicked your ass during the revolution! Besides it doesn't really matter the way you speak it, although some words may mean something completely different (My dad was stationed in England in the 60's and 70's, he tells me about these things all the time).

As for me, an American, I (obviously) prefer American English.

Edit: I don't want to make fun of either dialect, but if this gets out of control then I will join the mayhem...

Does anyone know how a British newborn speaks? American or British. If it's Daddy would it be "Daddy" or "Daddey"?

The normal stuff comes first, then the stuff made by savages comes next.
