Because Americans are too cool for robots and monsters. Luckily I'm not one of those cool Americans. I watched Pacific Rim twice over the weekend, it was so damn good.

I thought it was gonna be another overrated overhyped action movie.
But it was just amazing. Words don't describe.

I watched it twice already. It's so damn amazing.

to be affair the Pacific Rim trailer was shit, could have done better with the trailer.

i thought it was going to be shit too, but people are saying its good.

Pacific Rim was pretty awesome but I feel another movie would be a lot better. Like a sequel or a prequel.

My main complaint is that they advertised like all these awesome robots and shit and we only saw 4 of them, two of which had like 5 minutes of screen time.

...And I will argue the middle chunk of exposition was a bit lengthy and could've used some breaking up.

But otherwise probably the best movie of the summer.
