Hacking Amazon - Is the Kingston 1 GB MicroSD from Japan?

Well... I finally got a DS Flash cart. I've been stuck with Super Mario 64 DS for over a year now. (I got an R4, though I wanted an EZFlash V at first. I'm actually happy with the R4. My uncle got it from Hong Kong and he couldn't find the EZFlash so it's fine with me.)


Anyway... Today, we had to go looking for MicroSD Card. I've been wanting to get a Kingston 1 GB from Japan, but it's terribly hard to find out where the card was manufactured if you go to most sites. I ordered it from Amazon because one customer said his was Japan.


Has anyone else ordered from Amazon? (Kingston 1 GB MicroSD) If so, was it made in Japan?


I'm just curious now. I want to know if I should be excited for Wednesday or not. If no one responds by then, I'll edit this topic and tell you what I got. =)



OVERALL Results (Not just mine): 12 out of 12 Manufactured in Japan
Just buy it from here! If you DO get one from Taiwan, send it back and try again. =)

The Kingston MicroSD 1GB I got from Amazon was made in Taiwan

However, it works great with my R4DS though, no slowdowns

I'll tell you my ratio, although I doubt you'll get accurate results from them.

Yes, I got it on my way out of the house. (Around 4 PM, but I just got home.)

I opened it a minute ago.

Note that I bought 3 from Amazon...


3/3 = "Assy in Japan".


It seems that Amazon is a reliable, fast place to go if you want Japan Kingstons!
