I tried to update the EMUNAND: I followed all the steps and I can bet my life on it that I had GW4.5 version written when updating the Firmware. Now I only see version 7.0.0 even after I restart my 3ds.

Am I screwed?

you probably went to settings, checked for the right version and then left the settings? because that reboots into normal sysnand mode... :(
without a 4.5 backup and hardware flashing, you wont be able to go back to 4.5, sry

I see thank you, i have the backup, but regarding the downgrader.. I know some modders but I don't think they are into 3ds scene. What hardware should be required for this operation?

As-long as you have an XL

I wanna know how this ends. Don't forget to post updates in this thread, OP! Hopefully you can get your 3DS back to 4.5!

Well right now I am sending messages to all the modders I know asking them if they can do it and the price. Will keep it up to date.

PS: I feel so annoyed right now, I have been up to date with the scene for years, had a psp fw 1.5 and a ps3 3.55 and never had any problems :(

Update: I managed to contact someone for downgrading my nand. Everything went ok and now I am back on 4.4 .
Fantastic! Now, do tell, did you perform the NAND dump using a Gateway or did you previously use a NAND flashing home-made kit? I kinda want to play my game on the safe side, but I'm not a 100% sure if the Gateway dumps are accurate, full dumps.

Who did it? I didnt know it was possible to downgrade the NAND :o , did you have a copy on your pc?

pleas watch the video posted further up in this thread
nand downgrades are possible, however, you need a backup of your old nand first and then you need to do some hardware modding (watch the video)
