Hacking Am I better off getting a 3DS now?

At launch of the 3DS I told myself I'd pick one up when a working 3DS flashcard comes out that can play 3DS roms. I stopped following the 3DS "hacking" scene, and with all the new awesome titles announced, am I better off just buying one now? Will there be a 3DS flashcard released to the public anytime soon?

I doubt there's going to be any hacking on the 3DS for a long time. The 3DS is a great system though, so I'd say just get one, and enjoy the games.

I don't have much moeny but its worth it most of the time (although aus prices/PAL in general is over priced and that gets me missed but meh)

Personally, I'm itching to buy a 3ds XL.... but I don't want to TOO badly. There aren't too many games I'm DYING to play. Once Rune Factory 4, Phoenix Wright 5, Phoenix Wright vs Prof. Layton, and Dragon Quest VII comes out, then I'll probably start feeling the need to buy it regardless of the availability of hacks and piracy.

After the launch of the 3DS, I waited it out. Then came the price drop. Then the 3DS XL. By this point, I figured that unless Nintendo decides to pull a dick move and announce a NEW 3DS at this year's E3, I decided to pick up the Fire Emblem 3DS XL console. I also kinda lost all hope for a 3DS hack to play 3DS roms but then again anything could happen.
