Aluminum OLED switch shell/new thermal paste

I was looking to improve the thermals of the switch by replacing the backplate with an aluminum backplate and new thermal paste. Has anyone done this and had positive results?

I was looking to improve the thermals of the switch by replacing the backplate with an aluminum backplate and new thermal paste. Has anyone done this and had positive results?

the switch runs relatively cool especially with mariko cpus any thermal gains wouldnt be major or net any gains.
besides the backplate doesnt contact the cpu you would have to get a thermal pad, only bonus would be it would take longer for thermal soaking to temp
