Homebrew Alternative to Diagnose DS?

I've been using http://dl.qj.net/nintendo-ds/homebrew-applications/diagnose.html to debug faulty DSes. I use it to make sure the shoulder buttons aren't stuck, that the touch screen is properly calibrated, and that the other buttons just work.

But I don't exactly like using it. It has a long intro screen and the touch screen diagnosis doesn't cover the entire screen area. Is there some newer homebrew that sort of covers this area of diagnosis? It would certainly be nice.

I recall an alternative, however when searching for it I stumbled upon

Hopefully they will do for the time being. On the touch screen how much is missed out? http://nocash.emubase.de/gbatek.htm#dstouchscreencontrollertsc notes it is not the best, however if it misses out things that can get hit in normal use then ignore me.
