Hope you can get the source, cause WoodM3 is all I use, I don't like Sakura, but I can tolerate YSM3, as it plays everything I throw at it. Just got a theme I like for Akaio/WoodM3 too, hate to see it die now.

Oh wait you mean Supercard Two. That only works on Supercard DS (i)
There is an R4 emulator, but it only supports 4gigs and lower

YWG was online since I pmed him and he didn't replied me about the SVN. Maybe this is to early to announce but until further notifications the WoodR4 for M3 projects is dead. It will be continued if YWG changes his mind and unlock his SVN but until that the update is impossible. I hope I can remove this post soon and continue my work but currently WoodR4 for M3 is dead.

1. No, don't even try or you will piss off the AKAIO team and there will be no more updates.
2. For now, yes, use YSM3 with Menudo or Dscover, but iMenu is only for Supercard Two.

Maybe that would be possible to write a program which could edit the ini file in the ysm3 folder and then boot ysm3. That would be the same thing what dscovery loader does. But would be easier to just use YSM3. But I try to found something about that. Maybe I can found out something.

This is an alternative YSM3 menu. It uses the YSM3 as a loader so it has the same compatibility but use totally different and exciting menu for the loading of the games. At FileTrip you can see some screen shots.

Gab, I see there is "AKmenu for the DSTT v1.20" Looks like it uses the Acekard original os, which uses Akaio themes (which I love), but loads games threw YS. Would that mean that source is available?
Tried DScovery, seems to use the Sakura themes, I couldn't figure out the theme system, plus, slid ROM to left for settings and the system hung. Perhaps I using it wrong.
Mostly asking if Acekard original OS theme system can be applied to YS (as in AK for DSTT)
For now will hold on to WoodM3 v1.25, just can't leave it

The original acekard firmware is open source. From this they made the akaio and the woodr4/rpg, too. But I don't see any point to do this because the original acekard and wood menu as almost the same. (in the source the wood menu also called akmenu). I should write a new loader from the wood source which could use the YSM3 as a loader but that not so easy and maybe I couldn't done it.

DScovery working good and it is good enough.

Yeah unfortunately that is the situation and we can not do anything about it. If you got other SD card at home try with that. I'm using a Kingston Class2 8 gb card which is sucks with YSM3. Too slow. But I tried with a similar Kingston Class2 card but that is not SDHC just a simple 1 gb SD card. The game loading and file creating only takes seconds with that card.

So if you are able to try to use different SD card maybe your game loading will be fast too.

But I personally recommend to buy an AceKard. I got a little more expensive in my country but I can still say that is worth the price.

Maybe in the future I can continue updating the WoodR4 for M3.

What is the official R4 site? Google shows a bunch of sites. Also there are a few different versions. My M3DS Real has a Class 10 4GB card it in. Apparently R4 is M3 team, and gbatemp only shows the R4 (no SDHC support) version / review. If the R4i XXX can support my GBA Expansion Pack I'd get that. I like the Wood interface over even Akaio! Yes the same but a notable difference is Cheats (X), where in Akaio one has to use the stylist to access cheats. Although the APP in Acekard is intriguing, it never seems to work on the games that I apply it to.

I just can't use Sakura, almost 100mbs for a os, ugly themes & can't remove Touchpod, DScovery seems to load 3 os (sakura, manual load DS, then there is YS on there), plus I can't get it to work. YSM3 loads so slow, on a class 10 card too! I have an Acekard on my other DS, but it doesn't recognize my GBA Expansion Pack for the M3, even when I use the GBA_Exploder. I don't use that DS anyway.

Crazy about this no source code, wish I knew enough to modify akmenu, google search for programing DS loaders didn't return very accurate results.

I checked that "AKmenu for the DSTT v1.20" and I found out with configuring it and renaming the files you can use my WoodR4 for M3, too. Basically you can get this why what you want. WoodR4 menu with YSM3 loader. Softreset could work this way but you couldn't configure the cheats on the Wood menu. I didn't plan to upload a modified version but you can make your own version.

Yeah, I tested it with a 2 GB Kingston one (no SDHC) and is fast

but I already took your suggestion and I'm looking who can buy me an Acekard since I don't have credit card nor paypal
