It's the same, but it boots a DAT file instead the NDS file of the Acekard.

This can't get changed for whatever reason.

Some people wrote a bootstrap that this DAT loads a NDS file some time ago.

Well that sucks.
But now I am worried about the fate of the AKAIO.

Yes, it exists. But if you want to find it you will have to find it on your own. It's not hard to find, but GBAtemp will not help accelerate this spread.
