Hacking Ak2i and 3DS

I haven't used my 3DS and my ak2i in a while in combination. I haven't updated my 3DS ( I think I'm 2 updates behind... don't have folders for sure) in a while either. As for my Ak2i I have the Prince Caspian logo... I know theres a new update to the ak2i but I'm not sure if it will work with the newest update for the 3DS. Any info?

It should work just fine, the update mentions 4.1.x and there's only one 4.1.x 3DS update out from what I see.
