Hardware AGB-100 lens replacement

Has anyone here swapped out the plastic lens on a AGB-100 for a glass one like kind they sell at RCG? Will I need to take the unit apart? I'm afraid of digging in and trying to pry the current lens out from the front, I don't want to scratch the shell.

I haven't replaced AGB-001's lens, but I have replaced a few other GameBoy's. I suggest you to use a suction cup to remove old lens.

Of course you can disassemble your system and pop the lens out, but it's much faster to use suction cup.

Yeah, they are pretty easy to replace. Of course GBA SP is a bit trickier because the lens being behind the screws.
