Hacking Advice on how to proceed with my xbox 360 slim, best way possible.

Hello all,

I just got a Xbox Slim and I want to hack it . I read the sticky but I want some personal consultation if you want to help me that is.

This is what I have

Xbox 360 slim MFR -2010-06-09

This what I want
I want to play back ups without it costing to much money to mod it.
I do not necessarily want XBL if not having that reduces the cost.
Playing from internal or external hdd preferred.



How good "subject" is my xbox to mod?

Whats the best possible path from me to take to enjoy my console to fullest, I trust your expertise!

I haven't wrote a tutorial on it for nothing :c
I suggest you take a look at this.

If you want the fullest out of your 360, RGH it.
360 hacking doesn't come cheap anyway.

Yeah I read it couple of times there is just so much different ways to do this and so much information for a newcomer I'm quite confused.

Hmm, it's made to make things easy to pick.
I was planning on rewriting the entire tutorial anyway.


As I said, if you want to have the fullest out of your 360, RGH it.
You won't need to deal with XBL ever again and it'll be able to play DLC/XBLA/360 and older Xbox games.
As well as various emulators.

Allright whats a general price for RGH for a xbox slim , is it somewhere near 95 euros?

I guess you can pay from 60 euros up to 100 euros for it.

Just ask which RGH chip you're getting. Most people tend to cheap out and get the crappy chinese clones, and you might have REALLY LONG booting times (up to 15 minutes) if it's not done properly.

Anyway, if you're just in for backup games, you can just flash your DVD drive and that's it.

95 quid?
Dunno where you're going but you're getting ripped off.

A glitchchip is roughly 30 (TX hardware) and installing it takes maybe an hour.
Well, guess people will continue to further exploit others by charging double.

That or I'm the only one that RGH's for "free" ;p
