Anyone around here a fan of Advance Wars for the DS? My favorite is Days of Ruin.

Love the games, but the way Days of Ruin took itself kind of serious...I lost interest before finishing it. So, for me, "Dual thingy" too. That game's pure Nintendo.

advance wars is an awesome series i think dual was a bit too much cause when you do tag power its like GAME OVER BRO. Both games are wicked in their own way

So you guy's like Dual Strike (Dual Thingy) eh?

"Dual Thingy" had more CO's, but Day's of Ruin had a Heavy Metal Soundtrack. (You can tell by my username I'm a metal head xD) Also, I prefer Day's of Ruin's artwork over DS's. It's more...Death Note style Anime....:3

it actually took me a while to get into days of ruin cause when i saw the box art it didnt have any of the characters i knew since i played it from original Advance Wars on GBA but when you sit down and play it, it truly is a different experience since its more based on the units instead of the special powers. The Veteran system for units and the CO Zones are awesome and who can go against the Anti-Tank

I only played days of ruin and it was pretty fun for me
Kinda on the serious tone though

I need to play dual thingy though because I heard it was somewhat better in gameplay
