For those who don't know, the GBA and GB/C emulators My Boy! and My OldBoy! for Android have support for GLSL shaders that have been converted to GLES. The developer compiled them into an addon APK, and then the community (credit /u/tomkatt) added a couple more that look a lot better.

These are the stock shaders:
Personally, 2xBR looks the best on mobile devices. I play on a Pixel 5 and a Galaxy Tab S7, and it does a great job on both screen sizes. To use them, install the APK, and set a shader under the video settings for the emulator. If you have the Play Store version installed, you'll have to uninstall it first unless you're rooted with package signature checks disabled.
These are the added shaders:
- 2xBR(m) - *mobile enhanced
- 4xBR
- Quilez
These are the stock shaders:
- HQ2x
- HQ4x
- LCD3x
- Scanlines
- Motion Blur
- Grayscale
