ROM Hack Action Replay on AK2i

Well, my wife is trying to use Action Replay codes on Pokemon Soul Silver. Using an AK2i. Akaio 1.7. Anyone know of an easy guide on how to use said codes? Please and thank you.

1 - Update the cheats through wifi (accessible in the main menu).

2 - Go to a game, press Y.

3 - Press "cheats".

4 - Select some.

5 - Press Start to save them. DO. NOT. FORGET.

6 - Run the game.

If you have a look at my Acekard guide, at the bottom of the guide there are links to 2 R4CEE guides which will tell you how to add Action Replay codes.

If you use that to add your custom cheats, save as another file (other than usrcheat.dat). You can press (Y) on the PMSS ROM and set it to use your custom cheats database instead of usrcheat.dat. The rest of the games will still use usrcheat.dat, which means you can still use wifi to update usrcheat.dat and at the same time keep your custom cheats for PMSS.

I could be wrong, but isn't it Select to save selected cheats?
