Action Replay DSi as a flashcart

I tried googling this a bit but wasn’t able to find many results about the DSi version of the action replay and just the base version.

But the DSi version has a microSD card slot on it for loading/playing homebrew and not commercial roms

Was there ever any success in getting this to work with commercial games, or at the very least a NTR boot card ?

You can try TwilightMenu and nds-bootstrap. That should work with any DS cart which has filesystem support.

The action replay isn’t a flash cart in a typical sense however. Since it’s used for inserting cheat codes normally

Twilight would be able to access that?

If it supports other homebrew which uses the SD card, it should work.
nds-bootstrap in B4DS mode reads the SD card in the same way other DS homebrew does, with DLDI.
