Homebrew ACNL's update doesn't work

Ugh, I'm getting stuck on Yellow when trying to boot, that or it boots straight to SafeAL9H installer and I don't have the OTP, ,etc needed for it.

Did you put the boot.3dsx from the luma zip on the root of the sd card? and the arm9loaderhax.bin from the luma zip on the root of your sd card?

I replaced everything in the instructions except the arm9 thing, I still boot into reinand and now I cant load up the homebrew launcher.

Yup, but I don't have AL9H installed anyways. Both are correct.

Inside the menuhax folder is boot.3dsx. Replace your current one with that. Then copy arm9loaderhx.bin to the root of your sd card

It says that otp.bin doesn't exist and can't be dumped.

It doesn't matter whether or not you have a9lh. It needs that file on the sd root. Make sure you copyed the contents from the homebrew folder to the sd card

I had the boot moved over already, I didn't do the arm9 thing cause I never installed that, I'll move it over though and see if that makes the difference.

Still boots into rei, and I cant load the homebrew launcher still.

Yup, moved the boot.3DSX over, renamed the rei folder to luma, replaced the arm9loaderhax.bin, and put the Luma3ds file in the 3DS folder, it constantly boots to safeal9h installer

Delete the luma folder.

For me it wouldn't download until i viewed details in eshop so delete update and try that.

I updated using Starupdater last night, so i should be on the latest nightly
