Hacking Acekard save of USA Kingdom Hearts to real UK game card?

So I played about half of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on my Acekard 2i before my Acekard broke. Recently I was in Europe and I saw the game on sale for £12.95, which is about $20, so I bought the game there. I don't want to start ALL the way over since I still have my old Acekard saved game… is there a way to get my save onto my real game card? And will it work, because it's a different region?

Before, when I was waiting for an English version of a game to be dumped, I made so progress on the Japanese version. When the English version was dumped, I renamed the save to the name as the U.S. version and it worked. I'm pretty sure if you can back up a save from a real game, you can move one into it. My answer isn't a yes or no, it's a maybe.

Well, I know how to get a save onto a real game, but do I have to convert it? Or will a save from an Acekard work on a real game card?
