Hacking Acekard and dsi sd card slot

Have been trying to find a definitive answer-

Can the acekard 2i access the dsi sd slot? The slot on the dsi itself, not the microsd slot on the acekard. Would be great to load media to a regular old sd card and play the media off the sd card using moonshell

I think I read that currently the acekard can't access the sd slot as the ds phat or lite didn't have this slot. Can anyone confirm?

Also any thoughts on whether this may be available in a future firmware upgrade?

Short answer: No

Long answer: The SD slot is a DSi mode feature. All current flashcarts operate in DS mode ONLY, meaning it has no access to any of the new DSi features including SD, camera, increased RAM, improved CPU. Once the DSi has been hacked, new DSi mode flashcarts will no doubt be released.
