Hacking Acekard 2i wont load R4 sav

i bough online a Acekard 2i.it came in the mail today.but when i put the sav from the r4 to the acekard 2i it didnt work .it starts on new game can anyone tell me whats wrong.i heard they were compatible i even tried to rename it to .nds or .nds.sav

EDIT:I just notice i posted this in the wrong section can somebody move it.
