Hacking acekard 2i: tell me if this is normal

hey i just got an acekard 2i today and i got everything i need on the sd card but when i insert the sd card into the acekard the sd card will go in only half way and when i insert it more it pushes back to half way. Is this normal? if so tell me a way to fix.

Try flipping it or pushing harder.

It's spring loaded so you'll have to push it down until it clicks. It only fits one way too so don't force it if it doesn't feel right. If you're looking at the back of the AK, the label side of the SD card should be facing you also.

Make sure you push it in all the way so that it locks in place, it's like a DS cartridge, it's spring loaded.

If you can't get it to click and stay, then you have an issue. I had that problem once and fixed it on accident.

Some people (me included) have pulled out the SD card without using the spring loader (my last card didn't have one). If that happens, you will have to use a slight bit of force to re-insert it. Just make sure that when you are looking at the back (non-labelled) side of that Acekard that the text of the SD card is facing up.
