Hacking Acekard 2i 3DS update

I have just traded my DSI in and did not think about the flashing process, will the 3DS flash the new OS onto the ACEcard2i?

No, you need a console able to boot acekard to flash it.

I have flashed all the cards with my DS Lite Black Onyx personally...
All with a fresh install of AKAIO 1.8.6a and with these informations :
AKAIO 1.8.6 HW: 81 SVN: 1074

EDIT : I have used the update for DSi on my DS Lite, it works quite well.

Updated my Acekard 2i using the file on my DSi XL and it worked fine

Now just need to get the 3DS

Im almost sure its a problem with HW 44

I confirm it WORKS on the 3DS, with the last 3DS update (PAL 3DS).
It works TOO on a DSi, with the NEW Dorasu firmware.

On a sidenote, I just reset my 3DS. And the AK2i activity log is gone. So no way to know that I used a flashcard on my 3DS.

(sucks a bit though, had over 50 streetpass Mii's, but anyway, no harm done)

You can just delete the data from the activity log.

This doesn't prove that no mark is left though,it could still stay unseen somewhere.. but I kinda doubt it.

Like I said, you can delete it from the software library log, but it stays in the daily everything log (no idea how it's called on a US/PAL 3DS). No way to remove that. (at least on a jap 3DS). Both confirmed on the net and on the 3DS.
Anyway, that's slightly off topic, someone find a fix for HW44!

I have found an AceKard 2i with HW: 44 on my side and tried to update it like the others.

And it doesn't work after the flash on the two 3DSes!

So with the informations we have collected so far, we could deduce that only the AceKards 2i with HW: 81 could be updated in order to be used on the 3DS...

Also again, before anyone says anything, I only want this update because I am an update whore who wants all my electronics up to date.

Also have the HW:81
Update went just ok, and it's working on the 3DS =)

Beup Live also works on it yaay lol
(Should consider to let it work in DSi mode too)
