Hacking Acekard 2i 3DS update

No, the ds mode on 3ds isn't region locked.
They have probably not yet released the proper bootstrap update.

i have normal dsi 1.4.1 EUROPE with acecard 2i but if i download from acecard.com firmware update wil it work on 3ds and dsi after update ?

I have not even a clue.
But if i can speculate, maybe we are in the same case than when the DSi EU/US were released. The ak2i needed another fix because of the console language.

I just updated my Acekard with the ak2ifw_update_3ds_v1_DSi.nds file, on my DSi.
The update worked without problem, and the flashcart is still working on my DSi (the icon is a weird japanese game). I couldn't test on the 3DS though because I ordered it via Amazon and I should receive it today (via UPS).

I've updated mine. Works on my DSiXL but I don't have a 3DS so I can't confirm if it works on it.

Some Japanese game called Dorasu. It has a pink background and an image which looks somewhat like a halo imposed on it.

DOESNT WORK IN PAL 3DS / DSI

Updated it in my dsi PAL console, shows a japanese game icon but when i try to load it its just show japanes words(region lock)
I think i have to reupdate it in a dslite

Strange.....

I doubt that team acekard would put a region lock on it but I don't really know since I have an American DSi XL.

You might have bricked it somehow. Do you have another flashcart?

i can roughly read it i think this is what it says

"data could not be read, switch off power, please remove the card"

unsure of the last line
