Hacking Ace3ds with ezflash 3in1

Hey,
I recently bought ace3DS and so far its a great flashcart, but now I tried using it with my ezflash 3in1 and it seems I cant get into the expansion mode menu. is there a way to fix it or should I just continue using my 3in1 with my older acekard?

I suggest to continue using the acekard as it's implementation of the 3in1 is superior but you can also use the GBA exp loader to use the 3in1 with the ace3ds.
