Now I have a black icon in my sysnand, which doesn't even launch is quite annoying. How do I remove this? It's also not on the apps list in the system settings for me to remove.

i have FBI injected through health and safety app and then i accidentally installed fbi.cia onto sysnand while using fbi on sysnand. so i have an extra black icon in my sysnand main menu. i don't think reinstalling health and safety app would get rid of the black icon, would it?

If you want to remove the newly installed app then you can go into System Settings and remove the one you installed with FBI. If there are many with unkown box, launch cfw sysnand first and then check system settings.
If you want to get back Health and Safety app then you just use rxTools and go back to where you installed it, but this time pick get back Health and Safety whatever it's called.

That's the first thing I tried, and it nothing appeared in the cfw sysnand system settings unfortunately. What's the game code for FBI? I might be able to remove it using that.

I don't know the game code for FBI, but if you don't have any other apps then you can just go to Destination SD and remove the titles you see.

I have only 3 apps in sysNAND. One of them is FBI, so look for any of these in NAND and remember that you should never install an app to NAND. Destination NAND in FBI is only for NAND files.
Look for these in NAND and remove if you see it.

If it's too hard knowing what to install to NAND or SD, use DevMenu or BigBlueMenu to install cias since it picks destination automatically depending on what cia it is so you don't have to worry.

Does this apply to emunand? A black box always appear on my emunand, but the thing is that FBI is only accessible through the H&S icon. In comparison, my other 3DS' emunand has both the icon and the FBI one, and no black box there.

do you remember what you tried to install in emunand's nand? you'll have to use BBM to look at the title ID and then remove it.

use BBM to figure out the titleID of the .cias that you installed, then remove those titles using FBI.

That's like formatting the emunand, which I did. It removes the cias installed, but it would still pop up regardless. The only cias installed are BBM, SDF, FTPony, BootNTR. Aside from BBM, all those titles are installed in my other 3DS and a 2DS, no black box in either of them.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.

I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
