Gaming AC:NL Replace Villagers?

So as the title states above
would anyone know by chance if there is a way to replace villagers
in Animal Crossing New Leaf?

I've been watching videos on this subject
and I'm hoping there's a update way to hack into ACNL to replace my current villagers.

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but I'd thought I would try anyways.
