Hacking About to buy a Pioneer burner

Smash Bros was the first dual-layer for me to burn on my Pioneer DVR 108 (4 years after i bought it) and it wouldn't initialize the burning of the second layer. So I went out and picked up a Pioneer DVR-212D for $25.99 (SATA 18X6X18 DL 10x) and it worked first try, used to have to burn all my media at half the rated speed but now it's perfect going max speed.

So far my pioneer 112D has never let me down with burning anything.

Pioneer burners are awesome, great burning quality.

Currently have a 112D and its working great, but i'm sure the SATA one are even better

I actually came in here to say that if money isn't a big issue go with Plextor but I see some others beat me to it

I asked my dad to buy me a Pioneer 112D while I was at school, so he went to the store and found out I can't plug in this burner to my computer, so.. he buys a Sony burner with MY money X__X
He's checking the other computer connection now so maybe we'll change the Sony to a Pioneer and install it in another computer
