guys, suppose I backup a clean rawnand before installing a cfw for the first time, and suppose I don’t ever go online before restoring that clean rawnand, could Nintendo still ban me?

in fact, is there any report of someone taking such precautions and still getting banned?

so aren’t the logs from using rcm also cleared once you restore the nand? I didn’t know that.

afaik, even .nsp use can’t be traced after a clean nand restore, so I figured the same logic would apply to rcm use.

too bad. :\

Technically, yes. They can still ban you (because they can detect RCM, but they aren't). But realistically, it is the safest thing you can do, so my guess is no.
That is not true, they can’t detect RCm because is before of the So, the risk is less i have don it 3 times and I am not banned

Don't be sad. I have no idea how it works. I just know it can be detected. Just go ahead and do it. It is really the safest thing you can do.

Just because it is before horizon does not mean it can't be detected.

the telemetry is endeable on horizon, before that Nintendo doesnt have something described by any hacker that can detect RCM mode, is any source that can support your coment?

You need 1 whole bit to detect it.
Ask for more details in reswitched discord.

The only thing HOS can detect is when you have set up registers.
That means, you boot hekate and reboot from there to OFW.
Note reboot and not boot. When rebooting from hekate the registers in the CPU might not all be reset and the bootloader can see that.
I never heard of it actually checking that tho!
Other than that hekate is not doing anything different than the OFW bootloader does.
