Hacking A9LH Not Booting into Emunand on New 3DS

Hi I have a New 3ds xl with the luma a9lh and it won't load emunand, only sysnand. This only happend after I accedentally formatted my micro sd card. I put a backup of the files back on my sd card but it still says "sys" in system setting. also I'm also on ofw 9.2

this is because your emunand was stored on a partition, now that your sd card was formatted you have only restored the files to your fat32 partition.

Unless you have a backup (eg emunand.bin), your emunand was lost.

you will have to create a partition on your sd card if you don't have one (this will require formatting your sd card). Then you can just restore it using hourglass9.

Tbh, you don't need Emunand now (optional and just takes up space). Sysnand (luma) will suffice.

If you don't care about your current sysnand or setting up an emunand, do what retrofan_k suggested and restore your emunand to sysnand.

on a9lh with luma you have brick protection and native_firm protection, so it's completely safe to update and stay on sysnand.
