I had the luck of following an Youtube video that was based on Plailect's guide.

And the video is most likely out of date now.
I actually installed my version of A9LH before there was a descriptive guide, back when it was dangerous

I doubt it since it was based on the recent Plailect CTRNAND transfer method (it was uploaded almost a day after Plailect released the new guide). It doesn't include the troubleshooting steps however...

Well personally if any bricks, i blame sd cards, they are my worst enemies. But if i know i am to blame, i blame myself. To be honest, the guide is well written but find people still have trouble understanding or following instructions. If the guide couldn't be any clearer, i dunno what then. I used the guide (before update) 3 times and never failed. I used the SD card the system came with in all instances too. But still i blame sd cards. [emoji14]

All i can say is My psp MEMORY STICK PRO DUO was better trusted than SD cards, is commonly used for everything now and just seem so untrustworthy. That why is so price efficent and cheap i guess. While Vita memory cards are expensive, no one complained about how badly they function or faultuy. One branded memory cards, working flawless, multiple branded memory cards, work..... less than perfect, you get the idea.

I actually have a 3DS that needs a downgrade from 11.0 So if i can i'll try the new guide this time instead of the EMUNAND stuff. (Is actually one i already had a9lh installed on)

I actually got really lucky and had an SD card completely fail just after downgrading. Thank goodness it wasn't during downgrade, or worse during ctrnand transfer or A9LH install

He suceeded so why would you be trying to complain? That is a good thing. Anyway, i still blame SD cards, is been over 10 years they existed and still can't get reliable cards working, such a same.

I had every kind of SD card. I must have bought over 20 already in the past 10 years, they are faulty as sonic 2006 and sonic boom combined. (Sorry had too do it)

I have 5 SDXC micro sd cards and all of them are flops within a month time. Disappointing. Used a few on my flashcarts, for DS, done, Wii with homebrew, Done, 3DS done. android devices? DONE! PC?..... D-O-N-E Yet i still have 10 year old memory stick with psp and sony cameras that still work, no data corrupted at all. Only bought 3 of thoses.

MicroSD cards should be avoided since they're easy to copycat, and more if it is a SDXC. For these things (and for average use) SDHC from well-known companies like Sandisk are a must have.

I'm not saying to buy expensive stuff, but saying to not waste money on stuff that can be harmful for your devices.

The problem is that i dunno what is fake or not. Not unless you get it and is 2 late. All of my SDXC cards were by sandisk and the same store. Been buying different sd cards from different stores. I even got one from game store near by, Has nintendo written on it. FOR NDSI by sandisk. Kingston, toshiba, luxor, so many. You just never know that is the problem. Prices aren't even the problem. except you are right, i don't wanna buy expensive stuff, unless i trust it will work.

It used to work. I insert it into the PC and it doesn't recognize it.
Some others says it needs to format but can't format it.
Then some have incorret file size storage and is corrupted.... is so many problems with the lot of them.

Try installing the browser from the NUS or use something like cubic ninja.

More related, I've done two with no problems. The 3DS even has a flaky power system for some reason. No problems at all.

No, seriously, Plailect tells you pretty much every single little thing you need to do. The only way he could make it easier is if he came over to your house and installed it personally.

There is nothing confusing about it, possibly a language barrier.

You asked for how to use Cubic Ninja on 2.1 and Plailect already have it covered (although on the old version of the guide)

How can you say that one thing doesn't work, only because you can't or don't try to understand/follow simple instructions.

The fórum is full with people that were able to install it. (my countdown is 1 N3DSXL and 4 2DS with 0 brick in the OLD guide)

So, maybe you should just skip this entirely and pay to someone to do it for you. Or not.

Well, i tried again. Now this time with "CTR transfer" new and easy method. Well same problem. Browser free, crash etc. Doesnt matter what i open. it's just do.

So i did ninja hax and now i have my "otp.bin" 256 bytes.

Now how i go back 9.2.0-20U? Because the method i know its boot arm11.bin from http://dukesrg.github.io/2xrsa.html?arm11.bin and install my otp and then restore my nand.

I need a alternative method to boot arm11.bin i tried many solution but wont works.

I have SmashBross 9.2 update inside. can i update? Because last time i did update with 4.5 Donkey kong cart and bricked.

No i dont have hardmod right now because i need to pay for this service.

So what i need its :

A method to run arm11.bin without browser in 2.1
or a method to run any tools that i can restore my nand in 2.1

I did it when you still had to manually unbrick your 2.1 N3DS nand. You can't screw up now.

If you follow the OTP cubic ninja page you will see it tells ou to update to 9.2 after having obtained your OTP. You can either update with a game cart to 4.x or 6.x and use MSET with a DS flashcart (or browser, if it works wih the low browser) to then install a full 9.2. Or, use a 9.2 cart (but then you need to use cubic ninja to get into homebrew after that as your browser will not be updated)
Then, you use SafeArm9Installer.3dsx from homebrew to install a9lh.
The instructions are all there. If you don't understand a specific one, ask.

Biggest pain in the ass? Updating EmuNAND. Took several hours and multiple tries due to shit internet.
