It wasn't designed for it but it does load without any errors using both Freedoom 1 and 2. Just tested it myself with GZDoom. I've never played it or a mod like it so I wouldn't know if it had any further issues as I only used Freedooms single player levels. Is BYOC (A very well known Doom 2 mod) compatible with Freedoom?
What about zandrodom? It wasn't designed for it but it does load without any errors using both Freedoom 1 and 2. Just tested it myself with GZDoom. I've never played it or a mod like it so I wouldn't know if it had any further issues as I only used Freedooms single player levels.
I can't get it to load, lmao. I tried the drag and drop thingy, and it refused. Is it loading and there's some kinda menu button I need to press first, or am I just stupid?@BDBGaming Why would I test it on Zandronum as well when it works with GZDoom so it can't be Freedoom at fault? I did test it with Zandronum and it has no errors loading it but what's stopping you from trying yourself?
All I did was drag and drop the BYOC pk3 and nothing else onto the Zandronum exe file and it asked me if I wanted to use Freedoom 1 or 2 as they were the only wads in that directory (no Doom 2 wad). I did not use the prebuilt BYOC package with Zandronum. I downloaded the latest version of BYOC, Zandronum and Freedoom seperately.I can't get it to load, lmao.
