Hacking A problem with Picodrive

Hi everybody. I'm currently playing Castlevania Bloodlines with the last Picodrive release.
I've just begaun to play the last stage and I've got a problem: at the beginning of the stage 6 - 3 (the one turned up-side-down) I can't see the character. Is it possible to fix this issue?

Press triangle or whatever other key is set to switch rendering modes, does that fix it?
