I just read this news.
Dunno if any of those are limited edition like last time.
They has not been released on Wad files yet.

The Hanabi Festival, where previously unreleased titles in a select region are put on the Virtual Console, is back for the Australian V.C.

It is unknown if the Festival period will be longer than a week, like last year, but according to Aussie-Nintendo, three titles have been put up on the Virtual Console today;

Columns 3 Revenge of Columns from Sega's Mega Drive at 900 Wii Points
Gradius 2 from Turbografx CD at 900 Wii Points
Final Soldier from TurboGrafx-16 at 700 Wii Points.

It's highly likely that the Festival will make an appearance in other regions soon, although nothing has been confirmed.

Update;

It seems that the same three titles released on the Australian Virtual Console have been introduced to the European equivalent too!

And the Hanabi Festival looks set to continue over the coming weeks, with these titles confirmed to appear;

Star Parodier (Turbografx)
Puyo Puyo 2 (Sega Mega Drive)
Gley Lancer (Sega Mega Drive)
Digital Champ: Battle Boxing (Turbografx)
Cho Aniki (Turbografx)
Break in (Turbografx)

It is unknown at present if these will be the only titles to appear.

Are there any other rare pal title that i should play?

SMB lost levels was the only rare/limited game but its available on .WAD file torrent.
No one knows if these new hanabi festival games are limited editions yet, or if the emulators are worth using for injecting.

Star Parodier is good, part of the Star Soldier series and features Bomberman. Kinda like a verticle Parodius.

Gradius 2, shooter, very good.
Columns III, never liked this series.
Final Soldier is part of the Star Soilder games and will please most shooter fans.
Gley Lancer is just a shit shooter.
Puyo Puyo 2 is pretty much the same as most games in the series but still good.
Digital Champ: Battle Boxing, Punch Out style boxer but horrible.
Cho Aniki, is what some people may call "gay", but people with brains won't. You play body builders in an horizontal shoot-em-up but with a unique graphic style (very Spartan inspired). Bery enjoyable. Soundtrack is great, surreal and crazy.
Break In is a boring pool game.

Really now? That's horrible! I hope they don't do that once they decide to release Earthbound/Mario RPG/whatever...

Why the hell would they DO that?

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.

    I live maybe 3 minutes from a Dairy Queen, so I would just go there for ice cream anything anyways. I usually get the Oreo Blizzard, or a Peanut Buster Parfait.
