my touch screen is fubar, thus i cant create a save file. i've the money to buy a new DS but i recently broke my knee cap (bed ridden for 2 months

) so i need to save it until i can go back to work.

it'd be awesome if one of you could upload a fresh save file, dont care what the name or icon is, just want to play. i'd greatly appreciate it!

And what kart are you using, It will need to be prepatched.. I will aheva a look on google for a save because I dont have that game.. Thats the best I can do unless someone else has a save file..

as for the save, id like it to be at the very first save point with nothing completed.

Is there any way to save without using the touch screen??

not to save the game once a file is created, but in order to create a file you have to create/pick an icon using the touch screen. there doesnt seem to be a way around it either.

Getting it now.. I will probably use cheats to get past the first level.. Quickly for you so hopefully they wont affect the save file.. I will try to convert it as well.. Gotta find the thing first..

Ok, The only place to save was just a bit past the beginning..

What happened was, you get greeted by the fat guy and then get taught y is to attack, b is to jump and a is to summon your partner.. You get chased by a monster wuth no legs and a huge bone sticking out its back.. You had to get past these poles which you had to break by attacking them.. You then learnt Up+Y throws knives but it reduces your mp.. Thats about it.. Its the only way to save.. Soz..

Hmm, I dont have to convert it.. Yay..

All you have to do is copy the name of your Portrait of ruin into this save.. (rename it) But remove the .nds at the end of the name..

e.g DS file name is xpa-pof.nds and the the sav should be xpa-pof

yeah, was a nice thing curley did. glad i found someone who could help me out.

been about 3 weeks since it happened, going to see the orthopedist again tomorrow to make sure it's healing properly. glad i didn't have to get a cast, have a leg brace which i can take off to shower/air the leg out. ive broken a wrist before, but a knee is so much more constricting. Made me realize how alot of things are really taken for granted.. like standing! lol.
