Can anyone help me?

I burned the game, one without any patches, and one with, and on both I get a weird message in japanese.
Has anyone else had this problem

EDIT: And I also dont get that screen with the wiimote either

So can I. I'm wondering if he actually tried "A" on the Gamecube controller or if he just tried pressing it on the Wiimote. I remember playing one of the Naruto fighting games with my friends and it was like that too; the Gamecube controllers have a higher priority than Wiimotes so you have to press it on the Gamecube controller.

I did press a on the gamecube remote ... I have had this discussion privately w/ many people for some reason it just doesn't respond to my gc controller or mem cards in wii....
I am also not the only one...

Are you using an official Gamecube controller / is it plugged into slot 1?

When you first started the game, the game asked you in Japanese if you would like to create a new Save file and that it has an auto-save function. Did you press Up and hit "Yes" in Japanese?

I downloaded the "WS_tvccgoh_jap" one, will it work properly if I burn it?

Exactly what do I need to do before I can play it. My Wii is Wiikey chipped version 1.9g.

I have IOS 38 installed, what else do I need to do to not get a messed up Japanese text?

I'm using the gamma loader and not changing any settings , and my copy works fine. the game is cool I just wish I could read jap....btw , my wii is ntsc USA

Just put the disc in and play.

Everyone will get the Japanese text screen. It asks if you would like to create a save file. Just press up and hit "yes." Then the game will start normally.

I have a problem with that game too.
I burnt this game without any patch.
And when I put it on my wii, I have the title screen but I start, it does nothing, just a black screen...
I also burnt this game with wiifrii and wii brick blocker but, here my wii keeps looking for the game and it does nothing too.
For information, my wii is pal with the 3.1 and the wiikey 1st generation with the 1.9s version.

How to get Tatsunoko Vs Capcom working on USA Wii...

[1.] Patch the game w/ IOS Version Patcher v1.1 by: Waninkoko to use IOS 249
- If you don't do this down the road you will get some weird error... This fixes it...
-Not all people get the error!

[2.] BrickBlock it.... with: Wii Update Remover v1.0 by: Waninkoko (or if you prefer BrickBlocker)

[3.] Use WiiFrii v2.3b by: Waninkoko
- patch the iso to NTSC
- patch the iso to ENGLISH

[4.] Burn it... Play it... PayDirt.. It will Play via the Disc Channel if you have a modchip...

Does patching the .iso to english make the text apears in english instead of japanese????
BTW I didn't patch the .iso at all and it's working without any troubles
