I had 2 of those A-Data go bad on me within 1 week period, and if I hadn't bought them through newegg, I'd probably be ranting since it would have probably been impossible to return them for a replacement. I've had a Kingston 2GB microSD go bad, and all I had to do was set up an RMA through their website since they have a lifetime warranty. Speed is one thing, but where is that speed when your card craps out and you need a replacement?
The class 6 turbo a-data 4gb also have a lifetime warranty

For anyone interested, I use the Rosewill RSD-CR106 card reader with various brands of MicroSD-to-SD adapters. As far as I can tell, the adapter itself has no bearing on speed, but I can attest to the quality of the reader. Reviews state that the only flaw is how bright the light is, but that's never been an issue for me.

What about Transcend 4GB Micro SDHC? Has anyone test it? It is Made in Japan?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820208408

My 2GB Micro Kingston Taiwan broken because I connect it to the PC (not mine), and not because of M3Real or Sakura.
My closest game store recently selling Transcend but I don't know exactly the quality.
Althought in the newegg site the Trancsend also mentioned with DS-Lite Compatible.

What do you think A-Data or Transcend? Thanks for your help.

That looks solid enough, although I find it off how the page would specifically list it as "DS Lite Compatible". Normally no memory card is. I don't even know how it would work with the Xbox.

I have a 2GB of that version and it is made in Taiwan. Even though it was made in Taiwan, it has exceptionally great quality. I have had it for about 2 weeks, and it is working great. I tried it in my phone, camera, M3DS Real, computer, and they all read it just fine.

Mine is almost 1 year, in the M3Real firmware it work just fine, but in Sakura firmware the MP3 and DPG are lagged (5 min.skipped).
My first plan is to sell the 2GB in order to buy 4GB, but it seems the MicroSD have the feeling that it will be sold, so in the end he choose to self-destruct.

If you're still using M3Real Firmware, take a good care of your Kingston, its still very compatible.

I've had absolutely no problem out of my A-data 4 gig so far, even though I'm using the card reader that came with my M3real.

Maybe I got lucky, considering some of the earlier posts.

With a good third-party card reader, I'd say the A-data is superior, IMHO.

Has anyone had any problems with 4 GB microSDs from newegg? I need a 2nd one and I'm interested in that deal. Does it run any slower than a normal one?

When you say A-Data is "faster," do you mean that it transfers files from a PC to the Micro SD card faster, or that games load faster from the M3?

Both. Faster card speeds improve stability with some games (notably Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and I think The World Ends With You, both of which are known to crash often with slower cards) and I would surmise that some homebrew would benefit from it as well. There's no reason (other than price, but with online deals this is hardly an issue) to not prefer faster cards, especially since there's always the possibility that more new high-profile games will be listed as problematic.

This may look a silly question, but I want to know, yours 4GB A-Data is Made in Taiwan or Japan?
From what I know some card Made in Japan are recomended than Taiwan.
Is there a "Made in Japan" A-Data? Or is it in Taiwan Only? Just like in the Kingston?
Thx for your help.
