Suggestion A Better Notification Bar

So I was recently browsing some of my old YouTube vids and I stumbled upon this video with the old IPB gbatemp in it and I caught a glimpse of the old notification bar.

I decided to remake this notification bar into the new gbatemp and, no surprise here, it looks great.

The font used is Roboto Condensed which is a royalty free font endorsed and created by Google.

Here are some of the icons I poorly recreated:

Hope you take my suggestion into considiration! (Rhyme is unintended)

UPDATE (31/8/2015): I've improved a bit on the icons and made an additional upload image icon, in case that is required.

There are times when the notification bar obscures the part of the screen that I'm trying to read. It would be nice if the opacity was lowered quite a bit.

And alanjohn's icons look boss.

Actually, this old notification bar had a function where it would become fairly transparent when scrolling down, I'm sure this could be easily implemented, since quite a few other XenForo based forums have this kind of feature.

(never understood too much why the ones I did before weren't good enough for the mods though .-.) hope the Staff will chose something ...there's enough good suggestions already to make this notification bar and this Forum's icons better
