If it's the ESP you're trying to connect to, try reflashing the ESP, plug it into the PS4 itself and then set up the wifi connection again. The ESP doesn't have the best signal strength

will the esp work plugging it in? I don't own one, but I know the sandisk connect doesn't. the connection doesn't work if the device is on my bed either iirc, so I put the sandisk connect next to my laptop, which is close to my ps4.

The ESP will only work via wifi, The USB will be purely for power.

Yes it is. The antennas are tiny in these things

I use a 3 inch USB cable with the ESP plugged right into the ps4 front USB. Reads it every time with full bars

off topic, but @Prb , remember how we were talking about how attractive some of the woman are from a Star Trek/Gate were? my mom and I watched all of sg-1 and atlantis, and we watch star trek and next gen episodes every night. anyway, my mom said that both Rodney McKay (David Hewlitt) and Worf (Michael Dorn) were good looking. she also mentioned that Ronin (Jason Momoa) always seemed angry, which is pretty much true. his character always is.

you should watch "A Dog's Breakfast." it's a really weird Canadian movie with several stargate actors. I think it was @Cyan and I that talked about liking the movie despite how weird it is. my mom didn't like it.

I suggest maybe he use the sandisk connect. it holds more space from what I've heard anyway. I think you can change password and ssid somehow with the esp. I know you can with the connect. I forgot the default password and ssid, but I changed both despite it not having a large radius. I think my connect is called PS4 Connect now. you just have to connect to the sandisk connect's config page while it's unplugged (through the wifi connection -- I think the pc needs to be connected to the wifi point as well).

Looks like a hardware failure.

Try another ESP. All I can say is I have been swapping between all the different bin files Prb has been posting and every single time after clearing the cache it reconnects in about 10 seconds. I got a 4 pack of them from Amazon for like 11 bucks so just grab a pack and try another one!

Not yet and next time I will buy another esp again.. no problem for I using live internet

why dont you try the selfhost its offline like the esp as you use a dns
and you can cache to the user guide or browser
its easy you should give it a go once you have tried it you won't use your esp again
