Yes, but why you wanna update your sysnand?

Actually he can. Emunand is complety separate from sysnand.

Don't listen to this guy

If you burn fuses updating to 6.2 the emunand will have messed up sleep mode. If that's annoying to you, don't do it, if you don't care go for it

No, he can't. Upgrading to 6.2 means burning your fuses and it does not matter on what NAND you are on.

Doesn't emunand completely ignore the fuses?

also yea i don't mind about the sleep mode bug, dealt with it when cfw was a new thing

Why would you want to update to 6.2. All that would happen is you could play online. But lose CFW access.
For playing online with Smash bros next week
But I don't want to update to 6.2 using the official way because CFW will be broken
So i am asking if I can update to 6.2 without burning fuses and restore my 4.1 NAND when I want

6.2 is kind of a trade off ... you can either stay on 6.1, keep sleep mode in sxos and not be able to play online (which will mean having to use the dongle for original firmware anyway) ... or update to 6.2 (burning fuses) and be able to boot straight to original firmware (and need the dongle/jig for CFW.) Either way, you'll have to use the dongle for one or the other. I updated by accident and i'd go back and not update if it was possible. Far more games on CFW and constantly using the jig/dongle, even when the Switch puts itself to sleep due to 5 mins inactivity is a real pain (an even bigger pain if you paused a game and didnt save before it switches off)..
Yeah thats why I want to update to 6.2 without burning any fuses so I can boot to OFW 6.2 using hekate to play online or boot to CFW with working sleep mode

If you access to official Nand you are going to burn fuses anyway

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
